Travel and accomodation

Getting to Montpellier

Airport Montpellier-Méditerranée has connections with various European major airports. A shuttle bus service operates between the airport and the place de l’Europe, which is close to the conference venue and within walking distance from Montpellier’s historical centre (15 min walk). More information can be found on the airport's website.

Montpellier is also served by highspeed TGV trains. Information can be found on the website of the French national rail operator SNCF.

The easiest way to move around in Montpellier is by tram, which is operated by the Transports de l'agglomération de Montpellier (TAM, website in French). Montpellier’s compact historical centre can best be explored by foot.
